Shipping Policy

IRON & HIDE ships to addresses in the United States and Canada. This page explains how shipping works under our current ordering model; the shipping cost and window confirmed in your order email are the ones that apply to your order.

How shipping cost is set

Because orders are currently confirmed by email before payment, your shipping cost is quoted in that confirmation — calculated from your destination and the jacket's weight — rather than estimated by a checkout plugin. You will never be charged a shipping amount you have not seen and accepted in writing first.

Delivery windows

As a planning guide, orders typically arrive within 5–10 business days of dispatch within the continental United States and 7–14 business days to most Canadian addresses, with remote and northern regions taking longer. These windows are indicative until our carrier arrangements are finalized; your confirmation email will state the window for your specific order.

Canada: duties and taxes

Cross-border orders to Canada may be subject to import duties and taxes (such as GST/HST and any provincial taxes), which are set by Canadian authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient unless your order confirmation states otherwise. We do not hide this in fine print: if a charge is likely, we will flag it in the confirmation email before you commit.

Address accuracy

US deliveries use ZIP codes and Canadian deliveries use postal codes; the checkout validates both formats. Please double-check your address and postal/ZIP code — leather jackets are heavy parcels, and a failed delivery usually means a long wait while the parcel returns and is re-sent.

Note: carrier partnerships and flat-rate options are being finalized. The terms in your order confirmation email govern your purchase; this page will be updated when flat rates are confirmed.
