IRON & HIDE is an online leather jacket store serving customers in the United States and Canada. Our tagline is our whole philosophy: Built to Outlast Trends. Made to Be Worn. We sell classic leather jacket patterns — bikers, cafe racers, bombers, flight jackets, suede, shearling, varsity, trench and everyday minimalist styles — with every material described exactly as it is.

How we describe our jackets

Every product page on this site states the material in plain terms — genuine cowhide, top-grain leather, lambskin, goat suede, shearling sheepskin, or faux leather (synthetic) — together with thickness, lining, closure, pockets and care. Synthetic jackets are never dressed up as real leather, and they are priced accordingly. If a term is unfamiliar, the Leather & Materials Guide explains every grade, from full-grain to bonded leather, including how to tell them apart.

What we do not do

We do not invent a founding story, a workshop address, or a heritage we have not earned. We do not publish customer reviews we do not have, ratings we cannot verify, discounts that were never real, or countdown timers. This website currently presents a sample catalog — product data that will be replaced with live inventory before trading — and it says so in the footer of every page. When verified customer reviews exist for a product, they will appear on its page.

Pricing, honestly

Prices are set against typical US market prices for comparable jackets, and are shown in USD. Canadian shoppers can view approximate CAD prices using the currency switch in the header — conversions at 1 USD = 1.36 CAD, with checkout in USD. That arrangement is stated wherever prices appear, not buried in fine print.
