Built on the pattern of the classic flight jacket, The Aviator Shearling pairs a durable sheepskin outer with its own natural wool fleece on the inside — shearling is a single pelt, leather on one side and insulating wool on the other, which is why nothing synthetic insulates quite the same way. The oversized collar can be worn up and buckled against the wind, the cuffs and hem are fleece-lined, and the leather will darken and character with age. It is a serious cold-weather jacket for North American winters, warm enough for a January walk in Chicago or Toronto without layers of bulk underneath. Heavy, honest and made to be kept for decades.
